Earlier this week one political reporter described the mood in Downing Street as, "Don't Panic!!" in relation to the forthcoming Scottish referendum.
Which led us to thinking… how easy is it to not panic? When a crisis looms or hits how do you stay focussed and think clearly about the best course of action?
The writer Geoffrey James says:
Great leaders always seem to remain calm during situations that make mere mortals fall to pieces… remaining calm under pressure is not an inborn trait, but a skill that anybody can learn.
Meanwhile, if you'd like to discuss how your teams can stay calm in a crisis, cope with change, become more resilient and so on, do drop us a line or give us a call.
